RICKY HATTON'S FAREWELL PLAN

RICKY HATTON is plotting a £100million ring farewell with two blockbuster British battles.

The Mancunian risks his IBO and Ring Magazine light-welterweight titles when he faces the world’s top fighter Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas on May 2.

If Hatton, 30, defeats the Filipino he reckons that will set up bank-busting clashes against Juan Manuel Marquez and Floyd Mayweather Jnr — the only man to beat him.

A hometown fight against Marquez will generate £20m and a Wembley rematch against Mayweather would quadruple that.

Hatton said: “If I beat Pacquiao I’d like to fight Marquez. Then next summer I’d love an open-air fight at Wembley Stadium against Floyd Mayweather Jnr.

“I don’t want to be an old man in an armchair with my pipe and slippers still blaming the referee for what happened in the first fight.”
